Our souls are tied to each other. Maybe that’s why some things exist like soul mates, love at first sight, and the understanding of others with emotions. In The Alchemist Santiago has experienced so much. He believed he’s found his soul mate due to love at first sight and the mutual understanding of their souls without a single word spoken. It seems like an equivalent exchange is made. For the beliefs and determinations in these omens and God, God would give in return their true happiness and the reason for their existence.
